Most people should use the Config Editor because it avoids errors. If you prefer to directly edit the file, we suggest using FTP and make sure to create a backup file. Refer to Ventrilo Configurations for more details. Make sure you understand that Text Editing is an advanced function. If not sure, use the Config Editor. Not all configuration are compatible with client hardware. Be careful pushing the voice codec quality too high. Make sure all userss have good internet connectivity and sound cards before changing the default settings. |
