| Our software constantly monitors each machine and game server. We assure all machines have excess memory and all are inside data centers. Also, we do not limit bandwidth. To assure no machine lag, our software calculates the average CPU utilization. CPU use is what limits game server performance since network connectivity and memory are always in excess. We set the load to assure less than 60% CPU utilization. This means we make sure the machine is not exceeding 60% average load. We try very hard to not be the cause of your lag. The most common cause is simply a problem on the Internet or something in the configuration. There are times the machine can cause lag. If you run a trace route and see nothing slow on the net, then send us a ticket and we will look at the machine. You can also use GameLink. If we are available we can take a look at the machine. |
